ROBERT D. ROOK

Managing Artistic Director

Celebrating over 35 years as an Artistic Director, Mr. Rook’s directorial credits include the regional premieres of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the critically acclaimed Midwest premiere of Jekyll & Hyde the musical, the Midwest tour of Side By Side By Sondheim, as well as the regional premieres of Forbidden Broadway, Happy Days A New Musical and Gilligan’s Island The Musical. Mr. Rook directed Sweeney Todd with the Nebraska Symphony Chamber Orchestra, South Pacific and Big River with the Lincoln Choral Artists, several collaborative productions with Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra, Pinewood Bowl and the Lied Center For Performing Arts. His countless directing credits also include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Man of La Mancha, Sunday In The Park With George, Company, Master Class, Assassins, Forever Plaid, Love Letters and Jesus Christ Superstar.

JENNA WILLIAMSON

Scenic Designer

A graduate of USD, Jenna has been pivotal when it comes to the great sets at TADA as its scenic designer and painter. Some of her many past productions include RENT, Addams Family the musical, Young Frankenstein, Golden Girls the musical, Man of LaMancha, Jesus Christ Superstar, Into The Woods and Evil Dead the musical. A proud mother of two, Jenna is also the Theater Technician at Northwest High School.

KEVIN WELCH

Asst. Technical Coordinator

Mr. Welch has been an instrumental part of The TADA Theatre since 2021 overseeing the construction of countless shows including The Santaland Diaries, RENT, Church Basement Ladies, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show, Little Shop of Horrors and Godspell. Kevin has also been seen on stage in such TADA productions as The Great & Powerful Oz, South Pacific, Chicago and CHESS The Rock Opera.

CRIS ROOK

Associate & Musical Director

A musical director for over twenty five years, Mrs. Rook has overseen the music on a wide array of productions including the regional premieres of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Forbidden Broadway, The Spidey Project and Gilligan’s Island the Musical as well as the Midwest premiere of Jekyll & Hyde the musical and Sweeney Todd featuring the Nebraska Symphony Chamber Orchestra. Mrs. Rook received a Master’s degree in music performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where performed in several operas and musical theatre productions and was a company member of The Nebraska Repertory Theatre. Mrs. Rook has appeared extensively on stage and lists some of her favorite roles as Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde the musical, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Dot in Sunday In The Park with George, Dulcinea in Man Of La Mancha and Joanne in Company.

JAX BARKHAUS

Technical Coordinator

An Omaha native, Jax is excited to be part of the resident production team at The TADA Theatre during the 25th Anniversary Season. In 2025 he worked on the sets and oversaw props on such shows as Jesus Christ Superstar and Little Shop of Horrors. Also, a talented actor, Jax was recently seen on stage as Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors.

MARIAH LIEBERMAN

Scenic Painter / Propmaster

Thrilled to be joining the resident production team, Mariah is from Illinois and is currently studying actuarial science at UNL. She has worked in many facets of theatre including scenic painting, construction and props. Mariah recently assisted on the painting of the set for TADA’s production of Little Shop of Horrors. She enjoys being on both sides of the footlights and will soon be seen on stage in the season opener of TADA’s 25th Anniversary Season, Meshuggah-Nuns.

CANDYCE MARTIN

Production Manager

Candyce has production managed such TADA Theatre shows as Pete N' Keely, Jesus Christ Superstar, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Radio Play and Little Shop of Horrors. Candyce is deeply involved in community events and was recently appointed to the Board Of Director of the Lincoln Haymarket Development Corporation. She is very excited to help oversee TADA’s 25th Anniversary Season.

MARY LONERGAN

Costume Coordinator

Mary is excited to join the team at TADA! With years of sewing and professional wardrobe experience, Mary received her BFA in Theatre with emphasis in costume design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has worked for The Nebraska Repertory Theatre and other venues where several of her past productions included Crimes of The Heart and The Flick by Annie Baker.
