William Shomos recently retired from his distinguished three-decade leadership position as UNL Director of Opera & is now enjoying his new gig as full-time Grandpa. He is thrilled to be returning to TADA to once more share the stage opposite Cris Rook as he did with two of his all-time favorite characters: the title role of Sweeney Todd and Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha.

With over 80 roles to her acting credit, Mrs. Rook received her Masters In Music at UNL & has been a soloist for Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra. Besides playing opposite Bill as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Dulcinea in Man of La Mancha, some of her other favorite roles include Lucy in the regional premiere of Jekyll & Hyde The Musical, Joanne in Company, Helen Bechdel in Fun Home and Rona Lisa Peretti in the regional premiere of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
