AUDITIONS

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY: Follow the yellow brick road to The TADA Theatre and be part of this summer's fully staged, collaborative, blockbuster production that's a magical musical treat featuring adult actors from TADA and youth/teens talent from the Nebraska Children's Choir! TADA is now casting actors working towards the same goal of connecting our community with the positive power of theatre in a safe and creative environment.

** TWO EASY WAYS TO AUDITION **

 

VIDEO AUDITION: Please send a headshot, list of stage credits and video clip of a to casting@tadaproductions.info by May 31.

IN PERSON AUDITION: Sign up for an in person audition on Sunday May 19 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm by emailing casting@tadaproductions.info. Prepare a song no longer than 2 minutes length. An accompanist will be provided.

REHEARSALS: Begin July 2024 / All actors will not be needed every night until closer to opening. The TADA Theatre is extremely organized, distributes a calendar at the first meeting that clarifies the rehearsals each actor is needed for each day and is focused on using time management very well.

​

CONFLICTS: Some conflicts can be worked around early in the process.

​

PRODUCTION: August 8-25 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights, Sunday matinees).

​

ADDITIONAL: Paid parking for all rehearsals and performances.

ABOUT THE SHOW: Follow the yellow brick road to the TADA Theatre this August! This fully staged production is a magical musical treat for all ages that tells the story of young Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto who are swept away by a tornado from their Kansas farm to a magical land. Once she arrives, she soon discovers that she must embark on a quest where she comes across a rather unique set of friends and other creatures. Featuring songs that have become familiar over the years, this special production is performed in collaboration with a host of fantastic TADA actors and the Nebraska Children’s Choir!
